Can You picture yourself here?
We can help get you there! Canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and/or fishing on the Upper Iowa River.
The Upper Iowa River is listed as one of the most scenic U.S. rivers. This section of the river winds between prairie, cornfields, secluded forest areas, and limestone bluffs and contains some of the best fishing on the river. Don’t be surprised to see white-tail deer or maybe a bald eagle among the abundant wildlife. This area also has exceptional fall scenery.
We offer many ways to enjoy the river. We provide canoe, kayak, and tube rentals along with shuttles to several landings. Once you are on the river, you will float right back to our campground.
Canoe and kayak rentals include paddles, lifejackets, and a shuttle to the 2 hour or 4 hour landings. Tube rentals of four or more tubes include a shuttle to Iverson Bridge.
- Canoe $38
- Kayak $28
- Tube $10
Do you want to bring your own kayak? You can hop on a shuttle with your own items for $10/canoe, $10/kayak, and $5/tube.
Please book in advance or we can not guarantee a shuttle driver will be available. During the week, shuttles run at 11am and 1pm. On the weekend, shuttles start at 10am on the hour. Give us a call to book your trip on the Upper Iowa River.
