Are you up for an adventure?

We can help get you there! The Upper Iowa River is listed as one of the most scenic U.S. rivers. This section of the river winds between prairie, cornfields, secluded forest areas, and bluffs, and contains some of the best fishing on the river. Don’t be surprised to see white-tail deer or bald eagles among the abundant wildlife. This area also has exceptional fall scenery.

Enjoy the river from fishing, paddling, or a relaxing float. We provide rentals and shuttles for canoes, kayaks, and tubes.

Please book in advance or we can not guarantee a shuttle driver will be available. Sunday – Friday, shuttles run at 11am and 1pm. On Saturdays, shuttles start at 10am on the hour. Give us a call at 563-568-3263 to book your trip on the Upper Iowa River.

Iverson Bridge is our most popular landing. Please note that float times vary depending on a few variables; the river, if you decide to paddle or float, and how many times you stop along the way. The times below are based on normal river conditions, and doing some paddling.

Landing Name Floating Distance Floating Time
Iverson Bridge 5 miles 2 hours (4+ hours in a tube)
Red Bud Landing 12 miles 4 hours

FAQ: Check in at the office 10-15 minutes before your shuttle time. We will shuttle you upriver and you will float back to the landing at the campground. Check out the river map here and river conditions on the USGS website. See our Policies for River Rentals.
